On 30 april 2011, the Plaza del Carmen was dedicated to Queensday. This event was organized as closure for the "Semana Naranja" (Orange week). The expected 5.000 visitors enjoyed the sunshine, a stray drop of rain, but above all it was a successful and enjoyable afternoon.
Holland Promotions organized a wide range of events. Studio Rembrandt, Dutch flea market, stage activities, a DJ from the Netherlands and Dutch snacks like fresh herring, waffles and delicious pancakes.
